Scope and Contents Note

The Bryan Family Collection includes a family tree and biographical information on the families of Morgan Bryan, grandfather of Mrs. Daniel (Rebecca) Boone; William T. and Frances (Calloway) Lamme, granddaughter of Daniel Boone; Achilles Lane, son of William Lamme; Archibald Samuel Bryan, grandson of William Lamme; and David Sterigere, father-in-law of Archibald Bryan.

Materials include personal and business correspondence, essays and poems by family members, clippings and photographs, as well as an M.A. Thesis, "The Daniel Boone Legend." There is an unpublished guide to the collection in repository, as well as a subject index.
