Scope: Consists of 8 dated notebooks containing notes, drafts and fragments of poetry, journal entries, quotations, diagrams, and drawings. Clippings, auto notes, photocopies, drafts of poems, and drawings are laid in. One notebook (1970:Feb-1971:Feb) is titled Finkel's Ice Box and contains material relating to his work in Antarctica.
