Scope and Contents Note
Manuscripts, scrapbooks, and clippings of work by Clark Mills
McBurney. Also included are excerpts from work by William Jay Smith and
Tennessee Williams concerning their youth in St. Louis, where they were
both friends with McBurney.
Correspondence is arranged alphabetically by author's last
name.
Enclosure: Materials relating to McBurney's memorial
service at Gotham Book Mart, March 1986.
Enclosure: Includes copies of Mills' poems: A Small Wind,
The Moth, The Wheel, The Fable, and A Borrowed
Planetarium.

Includes a TLS, 1 p from Lyle Leverich to Mills (1985: March
6) and photocopies of Williams' poems from the Paul Bigelow
collection.
Consists of material toward Mills' memorial service at Gotham
Book Mart, March 1986. Contains works by Mills.
