Scope: Elizabeth Bishop to Mrs. Chalk, declining to write a review of Ruth Stephan's book Singing Mountaineers. She explains her delay in replying to Mrs. Chalk's letter, and suggests that Dudley Fitts would be a possible reviewer for the book since he is familiar with Latin American literature and she is sure he would do a good review.
