aforesaid on the thirteenth day of july in the year one thousand eight hundred and nine by his certain promissory
note of that date, by him with his own proper mark or
signature then & there subscribed, promised the plaintiff
as follows- On demand I promise to pay Gen william

just and full Sum of two hundred and fifteen Dollars
