HempsteadEdward Hempstead , administrator of the goods
and rights and credits which
were of Meriwether LewisMeriwether Lewis at the time of
his, death, who and of a plea
that, his son is to have the sum, of five
hundred and fifty nine dollars lawful
money of the United StatesUnited States, which from him
he unjustly, acting whereupon the
said, John saith, that whereas the said Merri-,
