by her counsel moved the court to entreat,
the jury, that if they found from the evidence,
that the owner, of the plaintiff had brought
her from a slave holding state in to the
Northwestern, territory of which the state of
IllinoisIllinois was a part an intention
to reside and did reside, within the said state keeping
the plaintiff in his services in said territory entitled,
the plaintiff to her freedom of which institution,
the court gave and the defendant by his counsel,
