says that in the year eighteen hundred and sixteen during the space of three
months and more, he says in the possess,-
ions, of one SimonSimon Connorsdale, and in the IllinoisIllinois
Territory immediately opposite St LouisSt Louis a Negro man
named Lebon that said Connorsdale, claimed said Lebon
as his slave and exercised every set of ownership over, him
said LebanLeban and that said Lebon is now living with one RisdonRisdon H
HRisdon H . Price in Saint LouisSt Louis and blamed by him as a slave
as this deponent has been informed and believe the fact to
