Whereas I, Francis M. Guyol, a justice of the peace within
and for
the said county, have received a Dedimusissuing out of the
circuit court of the
county of StSt Louis. LouisSt Louis aforesaid, and
under the seal
of said court, directed to any judge, or justice
of the peace in said-
County, for the examination of witnesses in a
certain cause there depending,
between Francis Leclerk plantiff and JosephJoseph Robideaux RobedouxJoseph Robideaux defendant;-
and whereas I am informed that
Lilvertre PrattePratte and Charles-
LaBerge of this county are material
witnesses for the planitiff.-
There are therefore to require you to summon the saidLilvertre
PrattePratte and Charles Charles LaBerge, that they and
each of
them severally and personally, be and appear before me at
my
office in the town of StSt Louis. LouisSt Louis,
county, and township of StSt Louis. LouisSt Louis,
on the twenty fifth day of this month instant between the hours of 9 in the
morning and 6 in the evening then and there
to be
examined and testify the truth according to the best of their
knowledge, for and on behalf of said planitiff. Thereof they,
are not to fail and
fail not at your peril. Given under
my
hand and read this nineteenth day of June in the forty third
year of the
independence of the U.S. and (A. D. 1819.)
