Know all men by these presents, That we Antoin

are held and firmly bound unto
John W. ThompsonJohn W Thompson . Sheriff of the County of St. LouisCounty of St Louis, his assigns or su
cessors in office, in the sum of two hundred dollars
currency of the
United StatesUnited States, to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind our
selves and each of us by himself, our and each of our heirs, execu
tors, adminstrators and assigns, firmly by these presents. Sealed with
our seals and dated this 14th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighteen

The Condition Of The Above Obligation Is Such, That
if the above bound Antoin Cetoleau,
shall appear at the Court
to be held at the CircuitCircuit Court ,CourtCircuit Court
to be held at the town of St. LouisSt Louis, on the Second monday of
October next, to answer unto Francois LeclereFrancois Leclere ,
a plea of trespass, upon the case to the damage
of FrancoisFrancois two hundred fifty dollars
and if judgment be given against him at the or any subsequent
term of said court, that the said Cebleau, will
pay the damages, aforesaid and costs, or the amount
of he condemnation of the court, or surrender himself in execution there
of, or that the said Louis
will do it for him; then the above obligation to be void, else to
remain in full force and virtue in law.
