Whereas ThomasThomas Hempstead HempsteadThomas Hempstead of St LouisSt Louis hath this
day given information upon oath to me JohnJohn R Guy
R GuyJohn R Guy a Justice of the peace within and for the
county aforesaid that within thirty five days
last past, at the county aforesaid, diverse goods
and chattles of him the said ThomasThomas Hempstead HempsteadThomas Hempstead
to wit eighteen packs of beaver skins worth
four thousand five hundred dollars and
two packs of racoon skins worth one hundred
dollars were feloniously stolen taken and
carried away from the house of him the said ThosThomas Hempstead
HempsteadThomas Hempstead , at the county aforesaid and that
he hath just cause to suspect and doth suspect

felonious did steal take and carry away the
