In the Circuit CourtCircuit Court
St Louis County to wit:

The Jurors for the State of MissouriMissouri
upon their oaths do present, that George HGeorge H RobbRobb late of the sd
County â Shop Keeper on the first day of July on the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Twenty
with force & arms at the County of St LouisCounty of St Louis aforesaid
a large quantity of Beaver skins, to wit eighteen packs
of Beaver Skins, of great value to wit: of the value of
Three hundred dollars for each pack â & also a large
quantity of [ Rackoon ] skins to wit: two packs of
[ Rackoon ] skins of great value to wit of the value
of one Hundred dollars for each pack of the goods &
chattles of Joshua PilcherJoshua Pilcher , Joseph PerkinsJoseph Perkins , AndrewAndrew
Woods, Moses Carson, & ThomasThomas Hempstead
HempsteadThomas Hempstead , the surviving partners of a company of
Fur Traders using the style and firm of "the MissouriMissouri Fur Company
Fur CompanyMissouri Fur Company " Then and there being found, felonious
-ly did, steal, Take, and carry away contrary to the
form of the statute in such case made and provided
and against the peace and DignityDignity of (The United StatesUnited States
of AmericaAmerica) & of the State.

and the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do
further present that the said George HGeorge H RobbRobb on the
first day of July in the year of our Lord eighteen hun-drad and Twenty, with force & arms at St LouisSt Louis in
the county aforesaid, unlawfully & unjustly did receive
there a Large quantity of Beaver skins, to wit
eighteen packs of Beaver skins, of great valued to wit
