Be it remembered that on the third Day of May in the year of our
Lord One thousand eight hundred and eight Before the subscriber
one of the justice of the peace for the Township of St. LouisSt Louis personally
appeared Hyacinthe FortinHyacinthe Fortin wife of Jn Bte. LorinsLorins and having
been seperately and apart examined from her said husband declared
that the within instrument of writing was her free and voluntary
act and Deed. hand and seal for the purposes therein contained and
that the signed, sealed and delivered the same without any coercion
or compulsion of her said husband.
