Be it remembered that on this
fifteenth day of October AD 1844before personally
appeared before the undersigned clerk of the St LouisSt Louis
Court of Common pleas within and for said County
Marie Deteriere who is personally known to me to be
the same person whose name is subscribed to the
foregoing Instrument of writing as a party thereto
and acknowledged the same to be her act and deed
for the purposes therein mentioned and upon
examination apart from her said husband (PierrePierre
Deteriere) whose name is also subscribed to the
foregoing Instrument of writing) after having been
by me first made acquainted with the Contents
of said Conveyance acknowledged that she excuted
the same freelyvoluntarily and without compulsion
as underinfluence of her said husband
