This indenture made and entered into this thirty
first day of July 1845 between Louis Vasseur and Cecelia his
wife
parties of the first part and PhilipPhilip C Morehead party of the
second part witnesseth: that for and in consideration
of the sum of
fifty Dollars to the partys of the first
part in hand paid by the party
of the second part
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the
parties of the first part have granted bargained
and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain
sell alien & convey to the party
of the first part his
heirs & C one half of all their
undivided rights, titles
and interests in and to the following
described
tracts or parcels of land in the county of St LouisSt Louis
to
writ forty aspens lying in the common fields of
St LouisSt Louis granted by the
Spanish Government to
John BJohn B . BequetteBequette and by him sold to AntoineAntoine
Rieviere
alias Bacanne decd.. . or Bond on one side
Langevier on the other which
has since been
confirmed and surveyed by the United StatesUnited States
and now
Known by Survey no 1433, also forty
arpents lying in the grand PrairiePrairie
granted as
aforesaid and confirmed as aforesaid but not
yet surveyed Calling for Bonde on one side and
Corneau on the other;
also sixty acres in the
grand PrairiePrairie granted as aforesaid and
confirmed
and surveyed as aforesaid and now known by
survey No
1270. Calling for La Clede under Lebeuxier
on one side
and for Corneau on the other to have
and to hold said undivided half of
their undivide
rights titles and interests in and said described
tracts on parcels of land to him the said party of
the second part his
heirs and assigns forever
