was broughtbefore
me a Justice of the
Peace in & for
said Countycharged
Ben a slave of William ClarkWilliam Clark
who
stands charged by the oath of
WilliamWilliam Garden with stabbing his
slave Bill with the intent to
kill
the said Bill says he did not
stab Bill with the
intention
of killing
him but with the intention of
wounding
him & said to
himself than he would
make Bill
him - says that
previous
to this time Bill has

to quarrel with him
at the
time struck Bill Bill
his hands
up as
with the intention of striking
the
prisoner
after I struck him he struck me
I thought he was too much for me

finishing he began
to curse all all in the house
