Know all men by that presents That I, John F. DarbyJohn F Darby
of the city of St. LouisSt Louis in the state of MissouriMissouri are
held and firmly bound unto Isaac WhiteIsaac White in the sum
of fifty dollars, Lawful money of the U. StatesUnited States, to the
payment of which, will and truly to be made I bind
my self, my heirs. executers and administrators, firmly
by these presents. I can do with my Seal. Dated at St.
Louisthis sixth day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and Twenty nine.

The above obligation, is never the less made upon this
condition: Whereas, William H. PepperWilliam H Pepper has this day come
an action of debt, in the St. Louis Circuit CourtCircuit Court
on a judgement heretofore reversed in the Mason Circuit
Court in the State ofKentucky KentuckyKentucky. Now therefore: if the
said John F. DarbyJohn F Darby shall pay, or cause to be paid,
all costs which may accrue in the aforesaid action now
instituted in the St. Louis Circuit CourtCircuit Court wherein the Said
Willian H. Pepper is plaintiff and the said IsaacIsaac White
WhiteIsaac White is defendant, then this obligation is to become
null and void otherwise to remain in full force
and virtue: witness my hand and seal the day
and a year aforesaid -
