As to the plea of said defendant first above
pleaded the said plaintiff saith that he doth the like & C.
and as to the plea of said defendant secondly
above pleaded said plaintiff saith that the said plea
& the matter therein contained in manner & form as
they are therein pleaded and set forth are not
sufficient inlaw for the said defendant to have &
preclude him said plaintiff froms having & maintaning
his aforesaid action against him nor is he bound
by the law of the land to answer the and this he is ready to verify. Wherefore
he prays judgement of N.G..
