Know all men by these Presents that we Isaac StewartIsaac Stewart
and Willis StewartStewart as principals and JohnJohn W WJohn W Reel

as security are held and firmly bound
unto William ClarkWilliam Clark in the full sum of six hundred
and fifty dollars for the payment of which we bind
ourselves our him & firmly by these Presents sealed with
our seals and dated this day of
in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight Hundred
and thirty two

The Condition of the above obligation is such
that whereas the said Isaac StewartIsaac Stewart and Willis Stew
art at the last March Term of the Circuit Court
of the County of St LouisCounty of St Louis recovered a judgement against
William ClarkWilliam Clark for the sum of three hundred and
fourteen dollars and ninety cents damages on an action of
assumpsit commenced by attachment Now if the
said William ClarkWilliam Clark shall within three years next
following this date by himself or Attorney appear in
said Circuit CourtCircuit Court and disprove or avoid the dama
-ges recovered against him or any part thereof then
if the said Isaac StewartIsaac Stewart and Willis StewartStewart
shall pay unto the said William ClarkWilliam Clark all
such sum or sums of money as shall appear
to have been recovered by and not justly due
and owing to them the said Isaac StewartIsaac Stewart and
Willis StewartStewart together with such damages as
shall be assessed by a jury the above obligation
shall be void else shall remain in full
force
