Given Jan 27 1846

The paper offered in evidence to the jurypurporting
to be the last will of MiltonMilton Duty deceased
does not of itself operate as an emanicipation
of the plaintiff, nor does it confer on him any
right to freedom- and unless the jury find
from the evidence that the plaintiff is
entitled to his freedom in same other way
than by virtue of said will, they must find
for the defendant.
