and now comes the defen-
dant and moves the Court to dismiss this suit
for the reason, that the said plaintiff is a
person of colour and the slave and property
of this defendant, suing for her freedom
and has not filed security for the costs as
the law of the land in such case made
and provided, requires.

and because the statute in such cases
made and provided has not been complied
with by the said plaintiff before the institution
of this suit
