CourtCircuit Court of St. Louis County

It is hereby ordered
that the above and within named MaryMary
a woman of colour for herself and children
SamuelSamuel and EdwardEdward be allowed to sue for the freedom
of herself and her said children without giving any security
for costs and that she have reasonable liberty
to attend her counsel and the Court as occasion
may require and that she and her children be not removed out of the Jurisdiction of this Court and that
she be not subject to any severity on account
of her application or suit for freedom
