On the reading and filing the petition and affidavit
of David McFoyDavid McFoy claiming to be a free kperson of
color and an due consideration thereof
Ordered that the said David McFoyDavid McFoy he admitted to
commence and prosecute the action mentioned
in said petition as a poor person

Ordered also that the said David McFoyDavid McFoy have reasona

ble liberty to attend his counsel and the court, as
occasion may require; that he be not removed
out of the jurisdiction of this our St LouisSt Louis Cir

cuit Court for St Louis County; and that he the
said David McFoyDavid McFoy be not subject to any severity
on account of this application for freedom.

Ordered also that the Sheriff of St Louis County

him out to the best advantage from time to
