When I first knew GeorgeGeorge
to my recollection he was near about the
size he is now I never knew him to be
whipt. I never knew him to be any other
than a free man & by general reputation
he passed as a free man in a free state
I have known him to be in a slave
state have known him to be in StSt Louis
LouisSt Louis. I cant tell how long ago I first
saw him in St LouisSt Louis I never was a
witness in any suit wherein the plaintiff
was concerned before. I never testified
before the Grand jury in this city in this
Case or in no other case.
