To all to whom these presents shall come: Greeting

Whereas AntoineAntoine Danjen did this day comply with an act of the General assembly of
the Territory of MissouriMissouri entitled "An act, Supplementary to the act, providing for the
levying & Collecting territorial and County taxes" I do therefore grant to said AntoineAntoine
Danjen,,[  Licence ] to trade or traffic with the Indians at any of their Towns or huntingcamps
within the limits of this Territory for & during the term of One Year from the date hereof

office at my office in St LouisSt Louis this Twenty sixth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & seventeen & of
the Independance of the United StatesUnited States the [ forty ] first.
