-rica upon their oath present that GeorgeGeorge
the slave of
Manuel LisaManuel Lisa late of the said
County of St. LouisCounty of St Louis, on the twentieth day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and twenty with force and arms
at the County of St. Loius aforesaid, eighteen parks
of beaver skins, of great value to wit, each park of the value of Five hundred dollars, ten
packs of rackoon skins of great value, to wit
of the value of one hundred dollars for each park,
of the goods and chatters of certain persons using
the name and style of âThe Fur CompanyMissouri Fur Company ,"
but whose particular names are to the Jurors afore
-said as yet unknown, then and there being found
feloniously did steal take and carry away, con
-trary to the form of the statute in each case
made and provided and against the peace &

quantity of beaverskins to wit eighteen packs of
beaverskins of great value, to wit of the value
of three hundred dollars for each pack, and a large
quantity of racoon skins to wit of the value of
one hundred dollars for each pack, of the goods
& chattels of certain persons using the same
and style of the "Missouri Fur CompanyMissouri Fur Company " (but
whose particular names are to the jurors aforesaid
unknown then and there being found,
