Antoine La Marche of a plea of trespass
on the upon promises for that
said defendant heretofore to act on the first day of April in the year of our Lord eigh-teen hundred thirty five at said was indebted unto said
plaintiff in the sum of a thousand dollars
for good awards & by
said plaintiff before the sold and delivered
to the defendant at his special instance &
request and for money by said defendant be-
fore the to the care of the
plaintiff. & for other money by the plain-
tiff before advanced to the
said defendant & paid out for him on this
spacial instance & request and being so
indebted the defendant in consideration
thereof afterward to amt on said day &
year & at said place undertook then
& there promised the plaintiff to pay his
said sum of money when he should
be thereto afterwards requested.

Nevertheless the said defendant although
after requested to do not paid said
sum of money or any part of it but has
referrd to the damage of the plain
tiff of a thousand dollars & therefore

goods, chattels, moneys, credits, and effects, or so much thereof as shall be
sufficient to secure the sum of Four Hundred and fifty dollars
with interest and costs of suit, in whose
hands or possession soever the same be found, in your bailiwick, that the said
Antonie La Marche
be and appear at the next term of the Circuit CourtCircuit Court , before the Judge thereof,
on the first day of said term, to be holden at the city of St LouisSt Louis, within
and for the county of St. LouisSt Louis, on the Fourth Monday of July next

of a plea of on the case upon promises
to the damage of said plaintiff of a thousand
