This Institution, for the last four years, had been devoted to the
instruction of Gentlemen in
Double-Entry Bookkeeping and Commercial
upon principles practically adapted to business purposes, the
pupil being conducted through the bona fide operation of the
Counting-house without the use of a Text-Book or Lecture.
N. B. The ability of each pupil to discharge the duties of an
Accountant, in charge of the most complicated books, or to
sustain an examination before a committee of accountant of his
own choosing, in every case, is guaranteed.
Tuition Fees, in no case, is demanded in advance; and the
pupil has the reserved right of reviewing, during life, free of
Reference given to pupils in charge of books.
Special attention given to those wishing instruction in Steam-
boat Bookkeeping, and jsut as practical a knowledge guaran-
teed as can be obtained on any boat.
