The Post Office is open daily, except Sunday,
from 7 A. M. to 6 P. M. On Sundays, from 12 to 1 P. M. The south front door of the Office will
remain open until 12 o’clock at night, for the de-
livery of mail matter from the boxes only.

Eastern Mail.
For Washington City, Philadelphia, New York,
Boston, Pittsburg, Louisville, Nashville, Cincin-
nati, and all States North and East—closes semi-
daily at 2:30 P. M. and (except Saturdays) at 12
at night.
Chicago Mail.
For Alton, Springfield, Chicago, Detroit, Wis-
consin, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Canada, etc.,
—closes semi-daily (Saturdays excepted) at 2:30
P. M. and 12 at night.
Terre Haute Mail.
For Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Eastern Ohio,
and Offices on the line of the Terre Haute R. R.
closes daily (Saturdays excepted) at 12 at night.
Cairo Mail.
For Cairo, Memphis. New Orleans, and the Ar-
my of the Mississippi—closes semi-daily at 4:45
P. M. and (Saturdays excepted) 12 at night.
Cairo Way Mail—By The River Pack-
ets.
For Ste. Genevieve, Cape Girardeau and all in-
termidiate points to Cairo—Closes Tuesdays and
Fridays at 3 P. M.
Chester, Ill., Mail.
For Randolph and part of St. Clair counties—
closes daily (Saturdays excepted) at 12 at night
Belleville Mail.
For Belleville, etc.,—closes semi-daily (Satur-
days excepted) at 12 at night and (Sundays ex-
cepted) at 2 P. M.
Waterloo, Ill., Mail.
For Columbia, Waterloo, and Monroe county—
closes daily (Saturdays excepted) at 12 at night.
Edwardsville Mail.
For Edwardsville and Venice—closes daily (Sat-
urdays excepted) at 12 at night.
N. M. Railroad Mail.
For North Missouri, Western Iowa, Kansas, Ne-
braska. Colorado, Nevada, California, Oregon and
Washington Territory—closes daily (Saturdays
excepted) at 11 at night.

Pacific Railroad Mail.
For Jefferson City. West and Southwest Mis-

cepted) at 12:15 and 11:15 P. M.

Terre Haute Mail arrives daily (Sundays ex-
cepted) at 9 P. M.

Cairo Mail arrives semi-daily (Sundays except-
ed) at 2 P. M. and 11 P. M.

Cairo Way Mail arrives Mondays and Thurs-
days, at 2 P. M.

Chester Mail arrives daily (Sundays excepted)
at 7 A. M.

Belleville Mail arrives semi-daily (Sundays ex-
cepted) at 7 P. M. and 10 A. M.

Waterloo Mail arrives daily (Sundays excepted)
at 2 P. M.

Edwardsville Mail arrives daily at 12 M.

North Misouri Railroad Mail arrives daily
(Sundays excepted) at 9:30 P. M.

Iron Mountain Mail arrives daily at 9 P. M.

Pacific Railroad Mail arrives daily at 7 P. M.

Delivery By Carriers.

Letters are delivered, free, throughout the city,
twice a day, (except Snndays)

To insure prompt delivery, persons not having
boxes should instruct their correspondents to ad-
dress their letters and papers to the Street and
No. of residence or place of business.
