Interview with Tracy Amalfitano
QUESTION 15
JACKIE SHEARER:

When people talked about the sanctity of the neighborhood schools in South Boston, what did you think?

TRACY AMALFITANO:

I thought that maybe some people were talking out of two sides of their mouth, if you will. Ah, that in fact it had been all right for years to send their, their children to parochial schools. But all of a sudden now, they were fighting for neighborhood schools. It was an issue I had difficulty dealing with and still do.
