Interview with Joseph Azbell
QUESTION 33
INTERVIEWER:

200 FEET LEFT ON CAMERA ROLL 136.

Joseph Azbell:

They were marching for Jesus. They were walking for Jesus. They were not walking for Martin Luther King. They weren't for this or that. They were walking with Jesus and they were walking with Jesus and they were walking for freedom. They were the freedom walkers. You've heard of freedom marches, and what have you, they were walking. And when they said what they said, they said it with a belief that Jesus would take care of them. They would have gone up against the whole police department. They would have gone up against judges. They would have gone to jail. They would have done anything because Jesus was telling them to do this. Jesus was with them. It was a Jesus movement from the beginning to the end. It still is today. You have to have Jesus to get these people to move the way they move. And they believed that Jesus would give them freedom.
