YOU SAID YOU SAT IN THE BACK AND NOBODY KNEW [unintelligible]…

Marion Barry:

Well I think we all, we talked, we met them early but looking in retrospect I don't think that the Greensboro movement after they got started was as strong as some other movements and therefore the dynamics of that conference was that everybody was jockeying, trying to get into something. Because the Nashville people had decided that we were going to be wherever the action was, we would be there with it.
