Just tell us how you heard about what was happening on twelfth street? And what did you do? And when you got down there what happened?

HERB BOYD:

It was around ten o'clock in the morning that I first heard about the blind pig raid on twelfth and Clairmount. One of my friends called me up and say he heard this panic in the street. I didn't live to far from that location so I quickly got my sons we jumped into a old Fairlane and headed out for twelfth and Clairmount. On the way down there it was already a lot of motion in the street. I knew something was up. People were running--
