I was so moved by the story of the mass that you had with the children. I would love, so I know I can share it, if you could tell us one more time of the service that you held here, and what you were trying to impress on the children about Fred Hampton, and how they responded.

After the murder, ah, the day after the murder of, ah, Fred Hampton, I was, ah, distraught. And, ah, I decided that we were going to have a mass here at our church, and we had all 1300 school children here there this mass, at which we were going to, ah, memorialize, um, Fred. And, ah, in the middle of the mass I was trying to get through my message to the youngsters, and I just felt like I wasn't getting through. It just seemed as though they weren't understanding.
