Dave Dennis:

Well, during the time that the, during the interval between the time that Goodman; Schwerner and Chaney were missing and the time that they found the bodies, what was found in Mississippi area were other bodies. Uh, there were people who, there were a couple bodies were found on the side of the road. There was some body, couple bodies found buried. There were a couple bodies or torsos found floating in the Mississippi River and there was another person found hanging. Now the thing that occurred during that period of time is that there wasn't any real attention given to those bodies that were being found. Everyone was expecting that, we're concerned about, whether or not those were the three civil rights workers, or out of the three civil rights workers. Once it was found out they were not, then they was all forgotten.
