Interview with John Doar
QUESTION 50
INTERVIEWER:

John Doar:

Well I had, it wasn't a uh, it wasn't an angry crowd after the funeral. Uh, not at all, and it wasn't a uh, it wasn't a mob. Not at all. Uh, and, it, it was not at a time, in my judgment, the kids had gotten so frustrated with their inability to seize the system of, the caste system got corrected peacefully that they had just gotten totally disillusionment, disillusioned, and were willing to turn to more violent behavior. There wasn't that kind of rhetoric at all at that time. And with respect to the whites, this was not, uh, this were law enforcement people.
