Interview with Sandra Feldman
QUESTION 14
INTERVIEWER:

Did you see change in this school, this other junior high school that you walked into at the beginning of the experiment?

SANDRA FELDMAN:

Well, I think the teachers began to feel, that the school itself didn't change. That was a school that was going to be, ah, taken down. And it was, ah, the population was going to be moved into a school that was being built across the street, at that time IS55. And ah the teachers began to get involved in developing the program for the new IS55, and there was, you know, some feeling of, of, of excitement and hope in the beginning.
