Yeah, the rookie class I was in, ah, there were 17 of us and only 2 of us that I can recall were from the Bay Area. I was from Oakland and, ah, so was another kid. The three or four officers from Florida, three or four from Michigan, ah, Baltimore, a couple from Baltimore, Maryland and New Jersey and, ah, officers from all over the United States. In those days Oakland recruited nationally.
