Interview with J.W. Kellum and Amzie Moore
QUESTION 5
INTERVIEWER:

NOW LET ME ASK LARRY SOMETHING THE WITNESSES FOR THE PROSECUTION, WERE THEY BLACK?

J.W. Kellum:

The witness for the prosecution, I do not recall if they were all white or not. We are discussing a matter here that happened almost twenty-five years ago, because this incident occurred in the month of August of 1955, and as far as the witnesses are concerned I do know that some of them were white. The jury consisted of twelve whites and yet the defendants were white and the victim was a black.
