RUSSELL OSWALD:

Well ah they ah, by Friday noon, when I went in the third time, ah it seemed to me that they were feeling much differently. They...they had a feeling that I wasn't going to give them the things that they had asked for. And the fact of the matter is I was going to give them 29 of the 32 demands. There were three demands I said I couldn't give them. One, was amnesty for ah capital crimes.
