Interview with Russell Oswald
QUESTION 31
SHEILA C. BERNARD:

Ok, can I, that was a wonderful answer. I'm going to ask you the same question just to get your answer, not specifically the conversation but just, what was your sense? Did you support the request the Governor come? And did you think he could accomplish anything?

RUSSELL OSWALD:

No, I didn't think he could, ah, I didn't think, if the government, Governor came, he would have accomplished anything at all because they, they were so determined that, ah, ah, they were going to make everyone grovel. And, ah, my difficulty with this whole group was that never did I run into such an, ah, such a group that was, ah, that obdurate, was that, ah, intransigent. Never, they wanted to take everything and give nothing. They wouldn't meet with us at any time. They just insisted on having their own way constantly.
