Interview with Arthur Shores
QUESTION 1
INTERVIEWER:

OK, SO I'M LOOKING FOR A POINT IN TIME, AND AS SOON AS JOHN SAYS WE'RE READY, UH, WHERE YOU MIGHT HAVE FELT THAT YOU WERE MORE THAN JUST AN INDIVIDUAL BUT PART OF SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT.

Arthur Shores:

Being the only black lawyer in the state, they retained me to represent their interests and to associate with their national counsel here in Alabama.
