The feeling in terms of the federal government coming in emotionally were, were very bitter. Uh, it's perhaps expressed very well by a cartoon that was drawn with two soldiers with bayonets uh, in a little girl's back marching her to class, this type of thing. Uh, it was, it was resented very deeply.
