AT THE END OF THAT MEETING WHAT WHAT DID YOU FEEL LIKE, WHAT DID YOU FEEL HAD BEEN ACCOMPLISHED AT THE END OF THAT MEETING WITH HIM?

Gov. George C. Wallace:

I felt like it was understanding that both of us were going to, that I was going to do what was necessary to keep peace in Alabama, nobody be harmed and that's what he said. I hope you'll do that, I said of course I'm going to try to do that. I don't remember that's so long ago now, that's 20 years ago, is that right, 20 years ago?
