as security, and held + firmly bound unto
the State of MifsouriMissouri in the lawful sum of Two
Hundred Dollars of good & lawful money
of the United States, to the payment of which
well + truly to be made, we bind ourselves
,our heirs, executors & administrators
firmly by these presents. Sealed with our
seals & dated this second day of May
A.D. Eighteen Hundred & Forty three

The condition of this obligation is back: What
whereas the County, Court for the county of St.
Louis, has the day & year above written granted
a license t the said Rachael Gregg to reside
in the State of MifsouriMissouri : Now if the said Rachael
Gregg shall during her Residence in said
State, honestly soberly, & peaceably deport
& conduct herself_ then this bond to
be void_otherwise to be in full force & effect in law
