Know all men by these presents
that we John Johnson as principal
and Green Erskine as security areheld
and firmly bound unto the State of
MifsouriMissouri , in the sum of two hundred
dollars to the payment of which we bind
ourselves, our heirs, executors and ad-
ministrators and each and every of them
firmly by their presents, sealed with
our seals and dated this third day of May in the year Eighteen hundred and forty three

The condition of this obligation is
such that whereas in the third day
of May of the year above written the
county clourt of teh county of St. Louis
and State of MifsouriMissouri granted to the
said John Johnson a license to reside
within said State of MifsouriMissouri _Now if
the said John Johnson shall during his residence in said state, will
and conduct himself as a good and orderly citizen then this obligation -
to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect in law.
