Know all men by these presents that we
Hardin Finley as principal and Charles
G. Chesley as security are held and firmly
bound unto the State of Missouri in the sum
of two hundred Dollars each that is to say that
the said Hardin Finley as principel in the
sum of two hundred dollars and the said
security in the sum of two hundred dollars
for the true payment of which sum well
and truly to be make the said Hardin Finley
as principal and the said Charles G. Chesley
as security hereby bind themselves their heirs
executors and administrators firmly by these
presents with their seals and dated this
fourth day of May A.D. 1843
Now the conditionof this bond is such that
whereas the County Court of St. Louis County
hath granted a license to the above bounder
Hardin Finley a license to reside and re
main in the State of Missouri according to
the statute in such case made and provided
Now if said Hardin Finley be of good be-
havior while he remain in the State of Miss
ouri then this bond to be void, otherwise to
remain in full force and virtue
