Know all men by these presents
that we Louisa Day as principal and
Kenneth McKenzie as security are held
and firmly bound unto the State of MifsouriMissouri
in the sum of two hundred Dollars of the
good and lawful money of the United
States, to the payment of which, well
and truly to be made, we do bind ourselves,
our heirs, executors and administrators firmly
by these presents, sealed with our seals
and dayed this fourth day of May in the
year eighteen hundred and forty-three
The condition of this obligation is such
that whereas, on the second day of the month and
year above written, the County Court in and for
the County of St Louis has granted to the said
Louisa, a license to remain within the
said State of MifsouriMissouri . Now if the said
Louisa Day, shall well conduct herself,
and be of good behavior then during
her residence within said State, then
this obligation to be void otherwise to remain
in full force and effect in law.
