Know all men by those presents that
we Henry Beard as principal and William
Cohen as security are held + firmly bound
unto the state of MifsouriMissouri in the sum of
two hundred dollars each, that is to say
the said Henry Bears as principal in
the sum of two hundred dollars and the
said William Cohen as security in the
sum of two hundred dollars for the true
payment of which sums well & truly to
be made the said Henry as principal
and the said William Cohen as security
hereby bind themselves their heirs executors
& administrators firmly by these presents
sealed with their seals & dated this fourth day of May AD 1843

Now the condition of this bond is such
that whereas the county court of St.Louis
County hath granted to the above
bounden Henry a [ Lisense ] to reside +
remain in the State of Mifsouri [ acording ]
to the form of the statute in such case
made & provided__

Now if said Henry shall be of good
behaviour whil he remains in said state
then this bond to be voide otherwise to
remain in full force
