Know all men by these presents that we Laetitia Jef-
ferson_ as principal and Sean Caller & Isaac S Smyth
_ as securities are held and firmly bound
unto the State of MifsouriMissouri in the just sum of
One thousand Dollars of which sum well and truly
to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, and legal
representatives this 5h day of December AD 1846

The Condition of the above obligation is such
that whereas the County Court did on the 5 day of December eighteen hundred and forty six
grant to said Letitia Jefferson a license to reside
in the State of MifsouriMissouri under the provisions
of an act, entitled "an act more effectually to prevent
free persons of Colour from entering into this State and
for other purposes" approved Feb. 23. 1843 Now if the
said Laetitia_ shall be of good behaviour
as required by said act then this bond to be void
otherwise to remain in full force and virtue
